The best band in the world at the peak of their power: Radiohead live at The Hospital Club’s TV Studio in London

Radiohead had already established themselves as the best live band in the world, and a modern day artistic successor to The Beatles, before the 2007 release of their seventh studio album, In Rainbows.

Radiohead got a lot of attention for they way they released In Rainbows – on their own, as a pay-what-you-want digital download.

What got missed, in the minds of critics and fans alike, was the record itself. It’s magnificent, lyrically and sonically. Personal and sublime. Restless and recursive. Powerful and contemplative.

This blistering in-studio live set features seven tracks from In Rainbows – Weird Fishes/Arpeggi, 15 Step, Bodysnatchers, Nude, House of Cards, Reckoner and Videotape – as well as three tracks from the underrated Hail To the Thief – The Gloaming, Myxomatosis, and Where I End and You Begin.

Only downsides here was that I’m not sure if they were expecting such a crowd as they did not have nearly enough servers and sometimes it would take a really long time for service guy to come. But at Los Angeles venues they tried to keep a smiles on their face.
