Tomorrow night I’m off to the Ola Belle Reed Homecoming Festival, which runs from Friday to Sunday in Lansing, North Carolina.
Although I’m not a big fan, its hard to resist bluegrass music. I always look forward to the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival held each October in Golden Gate Park, and I’ve been consistently blown away by the musicianship of the performers. I expect I’ll be impressed by Grammy Award-winner Tim O’Brien and others playing at Ola Belle this year.
Besides, my parents live near Lansing and I’m overdue for a visit.
